Items which cannot be replicated by tubes should do well. That's why dating and cams do well from tube sites, the interactivity from these types of sites cannot be stolen. Finding a mainstream site/product to do the same effect should work, although I can't think of anything off the top of my head which would do well.

Skincare products are also a hard sell unless it's an exclusive product line that isn't available at Wal-Mart, and I don't know how many men are buying this stuff.

Getting banned for promoting mainstream on adult wont happen if you can convince a affiliate manager to take it.
It's the same as the adult programs that take spam/shady traffic everyone knows alot of programs take it regardless of their TOS you just have to speak to the right people.

Real mainstream affiliate programs will not let you send traffic from a site that shows full length porn movies.

Problem with selling mainstream products with porn is that the company will drop your ass as an affiliate almost immediately when they see that your site is a porn site.

I had this exact same "brainstorm" 7 years ago and we were going to put up mainstream stuff on Ampland and AL4A But as soon as the companies checked out the sites and saw that we had porn tgps they canceled us as affiliates :(

So what I did was developed an online clothing store that was 100% legit with NO porn on it at all and then I fed that site from the porn site to get traffic. It worked okay, but the drawback of mainstream online marketing is that there is NO recurring billing (obviously), the percentages paid on a sale were 5 to 10% MAX, and the companies would immediately start sending the customer who bought from them through your link a bunch of emails with "Special Sales" .

Then when my customers clicked those links in the email he was no longer my customer :(

I finally just dropped the whole damn thing. Wasn't worth my time in comparison to the money to be made in adult.
