the odd thing about threads like this is it always makes me wonder, why people whove been in adult so long dont have designers they work with regularly...

you mention not wanting to prepay, when i have people who pay me 2 weeks before they even need stuff... some of my best clients pay me BEFORE even sending me their order! I get an email saying "fletch, sent you $250 heres the list of what I need." And its very nice... I get paid in full very very often before doing a single bit of work. And I KNOW plenty of designers who have client list are treated this way...

threads like this always lead me to believe what is the backstory to people who refuse to prepay, why dont they have designers they use? not trying to cause problems, i just know in life, theres always a REASON people do things.

every week i have clients who prepay me on their project, and i just dont understand those who seems so "against" paying and working with their designer long term, it just sounds ODD to me...

anyway just my two coins...

the way i explained it to my clients is prepaying gives you priority, and if one doesnt grasp that fact, I dont know what to say.

prepaying is GOOD, not bad, but this is what makes me wodner about backstory, there has to be some issue.... although those of us with no issues seem to have no problem getting people to prepay, even when we dont ask for it. people who prepay me get their work done and very promptly,.
