Domain/Hosting Experts (Need Advice)
 

So I paid a designer/programmer to do create a mainstream site for me and it took a lot longer than it was suppose to. I paid half upfront and owed the other half after completion, as agreed. I hosted with him as well since he was a friend of a friend so the trust was there. He ended up not completing the site among other things and still wants his money (not sure what he is thinking). My problem is how can I get control of my domain back if he is in control of the hosting and has changed my passwords to the host. Can I just login to my registrar and make some changes? Not much money is on the line at all so going to court or anything like that is not really something I want to do. Any advice would be huge. Ask questions if you need to as well.

assuming you still have access to the registrar it's at just change the namservers to your own and be done with it
