Good Xbox game.

I just bought me a Xbox. Main idea was using it for DVD's. And fun part was that Xbox could play games as well :)

I already have SEGA, and Jetsetradio. You have some good games you would recommend me?

tony hawk 3 and 4 are amazing, ssx tricky rules, harry potter and chamber of secrets is real cool, hitman 2 and max payne are awesome, all the sports games are cool. Simpsons road rage is loads of fun

how's the metal gear solid? is it on Xbox?

Dvd players are worthless IMHO unless basic machines start allowing you to record/copy things.

For the same price (give or take a little)
you can buy a video game console and play DVD's. Plus you can pick up a game once and awhile.

Also with DVD drives in computer these days, it makes little sense to buy an actual DVD machine.

Your on the right track to buy the video game unit.

I just played Dead to Rights and it was wicked, I wasn't so keen on Hitman 2. Halo is absolutely the shit!

Only thing bad about game console DVD players is that none of them support progressive scan and their video features and remotes usually suck ass, if you're worried about that sort of thing. Xbox is cool though. Bought one for the kids and I play it more than them!

Hi the video is good enough for me. And the sound is good too. Must say the remote of the xbox is not bad..
But I;m aware that a standalone dvd player is most of the times a lil better..

the playstation2 DVD player isn't the greatest. i picked up Akira, and there are spots in it where the SVideo signal drops enough that the TV thinks there is no signal. same with some spots in Pulp Fiction (where it's black with the white lettering) and credits for some movies.

i have a DVD-ROM in my PC, i guess i could use that, but sometimes it's nice to shut off the PC (very noisy) and just enjoy a movie. plus PCs are way more complicated than a DVD player - now i'm no slouch when it comes to PCs, but sometimes it's just not worth the hassle of crashes and no remote control (without buying extra hardware).

i'm going to be looking for a real DVD player pretty soon. i'm gonna try to pick up one of those denon home theater systems. mmm.

Don't know if Time Splitters 2 is on the xbox, if so get it, rox on ps2.

With my Xbox I won a free DVD kit, so how do I get it? There was no forms or letters or anything to mail in for it.

I dunno about xbox.. but Morrowind on the PC was probably one of the best games I've played in ... a very, very long time. So in depth, amazing world.. let's just say it's an astonishing game. Get it.
