Anyone Ski?
 

Just picked up a Season Pass at Mt Tremblant in Montreal so if anyone is ever is going up there or anything let me know! I go about twice a week! :glugglug

I've heard great things about Kicking Horse - I've just moved to Van for the season so I'm looking forward to doing a few trips up there. I was in BC a couple years ago for a six week snowboarding road trip. Awesome time - that's why I'm back. Big White was my fav ? awesome tree runs and lots of pow. Wish the snow would hurry up and come ? I was just in Denver and it?s been dumping ? best start to the season for 10 years.

it's fucking awesome. on a good day, it's very similar to heli-boarding. and the runs are looooong. 2nd most vertical in Canada (2nd only to Whistler).

they've got a very un-developed vibe going on, which i love.

i ski every now and then... usually in vegas at the conventions, some of those VIP rooms have the rosco shit!!

quiet - sounds awesome. I'm with you on the under-developed thing. South America was mostly like that - at some of the "resorts", the lifts looked about 30 years old but in six weeks, the longest I had to wait in a lift line was about 5 minutes.

Invite us up!! I've been to whistler/blackcomb a few times, very nice, but my favorite hill has to be an hour up From Nanaimo on Victoria Island..... Mt Washington, anyone heard of it?

Yes my Grandpa lives close to Mt. Washington. I've never skied there before, but I've walked on the trails plenty of times. Very nice place.

I've heard the skiing is excellent but most people would say whistler/blackcomb is better.

this winter I'm planning 2 ski trips!

1-2 weekd at whistler/blackcomb
2 days at Sunday River

I'll also have a pass at Bromont and probably will go to tremblant at least once :)

Kirkwood. CA had it's opening day today with 6 inches of fluff and sunny all day, temp at about 45! Chair 6 was open all the way to the top too....hehe, can't wait for tomorrow, winter's my favorite season!!
