Real change from Obama
Just read this. He admitted he screwed up by nominating Daschle and is taking full responsibility for it.
http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/02/...hle/index.html That is a real change from Bush. In 8 years I don't remember him ever admitting he made a mistake. |
Oh please. When will the Obamagasms be over. He gets cudos for admitting he fucked the pooch? Obama said he still had full confidence in Daschle when the tax issues first came out. He is only now admitting mistakes because some of these nominations are ridiculous.
He should have pulled the plug on Tim Geithner instead of letting him get confirmed. That would have been real change. The only change you'll be getting in the next 4 years are the pennies jingling around in your pocket. |

What does McCain have to do with this thread? LOL

You'll be hearing those words alot over the next 4 years.

It's a real damn change from Bush. Imagine that... a politician taking some personal responsibility.

united states is striking Iran in 8 years.

There has never been a United States President that wasn't criticized and there never will be.

I said nothing about whether he is going to be a good president or not, just that this was a change from the past. Relax a little. |

I could use some wine also. Only have a shot of rum left to lull me off to sleep.

Well, I guess admitting to being a tool is a slight change from the usual.

I watched Lisa Lampanelli's HBO special tonight, and she had a funny line:
"Just what we need, another black man asking us for change"... |
change is good for everybody..
|
Just you wait for the real Obama change. It will be terrible.

Unbelievable.
Off topic, anyone see Frost/Nixon? He was WAY before my time and I don't know much about him. But though he fucked up with the whole Watergate deal, he seemed to be extremely intelligent , a kick ass negotiator and major hard-ass. Anyone read his book? I'm thinking of ordering it. http://rebelrhetoric.files.wordpress...ixon-web-c.jpg |
In one month from now everyone's forgotten about Obama already.

Good distractions from his illegal bombing and killing of innocent civilians in Pakistan.

2 Huge wins for hope and change today. Child health care and exec pay for bailed out companies. :)

i do think it is commendable for Obama to realize he made a mistake and own up to it, takes a person with a spine to do so.. however i am concerned that the stimulus package obama has put forth is off course, too much "special interest" allocations.. little disappointed that it is not as much into the infrastructure and green energy as he had preached during the election. |
who gives a flying fuck!

Thia makes sense. LBJ was a master of domestic policy and screwed up in Vietnam. Nixon was a master of foreign policy (he opened up China for gawd's sake) and screwed up on domestic policy, topped off with Watergate, which was a catchall term for what is now the second-worst systematic abuse of presidential power in U.S. history. --t |
