fucking amazing video. I wish they could somehow transport that thing to a museum, I'd love to go see it in person. Would be neat if they could have used a clear urethane and then dug it out and then sanded it down and polished it to a crystal clear finish.

would have been a lot of fucking work, but so worth it, and we'd get to see all the millions of dead ants. Pretty cool.

At the same time it kinda of has a weird truth to it. That here they are living and surviving, building this huge fucking colony for the sole purpose of just maintaining their own existence and in a few hours they all die.

Could be like how we as humans are if the earth should die, or explode, or implode, or be hit by a meteor. Here one minute... gone the next.

Did they die before or after they poured 10 tons of cement in their house ? I saw that too and thought that was kind of fucked ...

those guys were in for a huge surprise. I wonder how many ants died to make that?

They should of used some sort of lexan or pirex see through material when they did that. They likely would of been able to pull the whole thing out of there then as it would'nt be a brittle as cement would of been.

i believe that was a vacated colony, prior to filling it with cement
