I am friends with every ex of mine, since I was 15y.o. Fuck, they are all on my myspace. Including a 5 year and two 4 year relationships. I hear that's weird?!?

Yep. I am the same way for the most part. There are a few that hold a grudge from back in the day, but I have apologized and left that door open. It's their issue now.

When I first break up with someone. I have a little cooling off period where I will not talk to them. But after a few months, I will talk to them if they initiate. I hold no grudges in my personal life. A lot of times it was timing or growing apart. Nothing you can really do when you fall out of love.

I still love, and care for all my ex's. Or most of them I was with more than a week. With most of them I would help them if I received a call. But all in all. The 'initiation' part of the relationship is up to them.

I still have a half dozen who keep in contact regularly and tell me their latest bullshit dramas. I have asked them all, 'why me?', they tell me it is because I am open minded, and non-judgmental. Which is true.

Everyone fucks up. However, some just will not admit to it.

I am friends with several "ex's" However it is long distance and causal once in a while whats up calls.

I usually fuck around on them and they break it off

i am friends with my Ex's ... in 90% of cases now that i'm older.

I lived with one of my ex's for almost 2 years.

If things end normally, then I have no animosity towards anyone I dated and I hope the best for them.

Of course, if some girl fucked me over, I wouldn't be friends with them.

I am friends with alot of my exes including my exhusband and his wife. We all hangout together and I talk to the wife almost every day. The few I am not friends with are the ones that owe me money or have girlfriends that "don't allow them" to be friends with me.

I am only not friends with one because he started dating my best friend, robbed me and I ended up getting a restraining order to keep him from breaking into my house repeatedly (the last time he stole all the food in my house - come on - who steals food!!?!?). The other one I'm not is the kid's dad and really it's just because he has no desire to have a relationship with his children and I have no respect for him and therefore we have no relationship, good or bad. Everyone else, I'm cool with.

i cannot stand guys who are *friends* with their exs. I have a friend who likes to hang out with all his exs even after they have new boyfriends. fuck that emo shit, burn the bridge as soon as you cross it. burn your boat after you land, there is no coming home after this.
