nonya ;)

Barefootsies 02-01-2009 05:42 PM

Didn't notice.

I have done a good couple of dozen transactions over the past few months, some big dollar, and appear to be the same rip off fees as always. I suppose I could check 2008 numbers and see if there is some difference.

Did they knock it up a percent or something?

raven1083 02-01-2009 05:45 PM

well i do always withdraw my money and left a zero balance

So do I, but it's $ coming in and $ going out that they are taking way more of these days. I never paid attn to their %'s but I guess now I'm going to have to.. and use Epass instead I guess?

ahhh... yes that would sell like hotpockets ;)

Peranakan or Nonya cuisine combines Chinese, Malay and other influences into a unique blend.

Peranakans are descendants of early Chinese migrants who settled in Penang, Malacca and Singapore, inter-marrying with local Malays. The old Malay word nonya (also spelled nyonya), a term of respect and affection for women of prominent social standing (part ?madame? and part ?auntie?), has come to refer to the cuisine of the Perakanans.

I haven't seen paypals fee's raise and I still use them a whole lot.
Unlike many if given a choice I still will take paypal over epass any day as well.

Use it to your advantage when possible such as making sure you use the cash back option with their debit card, when receiving funds in large amounts always take an echeck, batch payments can be your friend and so forth.

brand0n 02-01-2009 06:03 PM

epass has less fees, and a no dispute policy and dont care if you are selling your gstring

o and btw i would like to inject you.

thanks.

Klen 02-01-2009 06:05 PM

If you would of told them to send you an echeck via paypal instead you would of only been charged 10.00 combined.

AnniKN 02-01-2009 06:24 PM

fees down here are 3.9 - 4.something % plus a few cents... >_< I don't even like to check

Mass Pay to send and receive. Only charges $1 to the sender.

There is always a cost of doing business. The Paypal card allows you to remove the money pretty well as you get it, that convenience alone is worth it it my opinion.

Better than waiting for 7-10 days for a "check" to arrive in the mail and then hope that the check is a good one and doesn't bounce.

That's about 3%... doesn't sound too outrageous.

JD 02-01-2009 08:00 PM

mass pay ftw

NickB. 02-01-2009 08:20 PM

ur hot - amen

selena 02-01-2009 08:29 PM

I use paypal nearly daily, and have not noticed an increase in fees.

DK 02-01-2009 08:41 PM

They take out about $30 for every $1k recieved:

Completed Details $1,000.00 USD -$29.30 USD

PornMD 02-01-2009 08:45 PM

The fees didn't go up as far as I see - did international fees go up or something?

That's a common percentage rate. I always incorporate those things when sending and receiving payment. :)

It's not a loophole. It's for business clients.

Sending a 'mass payment' to *one* person and it costing less is not a loophole?

Loophole

noun
1. an ambiguity (especially one in the text of a law or contract) that makes it possible to evade a difficulty or obligation
