NO SHIT, Who ever thought this up is a moron, or next great thinker.
My girl just got back from picking up lunch for us from a small area diner that just opened up this last summer. The food is pretty decent and fairly priced, I'm quite partial to the bonless chicken wings and the tuna melts.
Anyhow for the season, they have introduced a new product on the menu::warning HOT LEMONAID......... First thing that comes to mind obviously is piss in a cup, but really, hot lemonaid...... Is this a big thing else where? I do live in a smaller town, but this is just so fucked up i cant imagine it is a big thing in other places and I just missed the train.... I think its time to move. And no, she didn't buy a cup of hot lemonaid.....thank god... What kind of person thinks this shit up? Anyone? |
People often add lemon to hot drinks.. Seems logical to me..
|
reminds me of hot dr. pepper in the south
|
i could see it working
|
Im in New york never heard of hot lemonade
|
sounds like lemon tea
|
We used to drink hot lemonade for colds and flu.
Drink as hot as you can take it. |
No worse than 99% of the other shit you folk put into your bodies.

Also makes me think of having a cold and some medicines like theraflu.
Perhaps they are catering to those with colds, sore throats, etc. Sort of like places that have either chicken soup or Jewish penicillin on the menu all of the time. Keep in mind you did admit to a tuna melt which is a hot tuna fish sandwich with cheese, so it really is not that strange. |

You do make a good point though. I googled it, and theres pleanty of related topics about cold and flu and things of the such. It does make a little more sence now. |

|

|

Theraflu/Neocitran isn't really "lemonade" flavored, more like hot lemon flavored cough syrup. |
Sounds like NeoCitran, I like NeoCitran. i think i could def go for a hot lemonade...

Makes about as much sense as cold coffee.
|
never notice such a lemondae before
|
The same type of person that would think up cold coffee would think of hot lemonade.
|
Put it like this if it had just been cold lemonaid, you wouldnt have bought some - you are now driving BACK there to try some.... And he just made a sale.
Same shit as some of the CRAZY porn out there IMHO. |
we call it lemontea

Sounds like hot lemon tea to me too.
|
Why not give it a try. Good luck!
|
Is it "real" lemonade made with lemon juice and sugar or a commercial fizzy drink with artificial flavouring? If it's the latter then it's probably going to be quite strange, since the fizzy effect diminishes as the liquid heats up...

I really hope its not the fizzy stuff, carbonation is not my friend, i'm a smooth drink guy. coffee, tea, water and whiskey, thats about it. I like beer too, but the carbonation bothers me. Anyhow, i'll get to experience it sometime later today, and I'll give this thread a bump and report my findings. good or bad. |
Should taste like a hot lemon tea

Hot lemonade ROCKS
...with a little vodka in it. I won't have a cold or flu without my neocitron. No one should. |
never heard of it
|
neo citron man its been around for ages , your nuts if you dont use it when your sick..
It works better than the white mans cure for s.a.r.s. :thumbsup ( cambells soup, dayquil and sprite ) |

It was actual lemonaid, made with lemons, water and sugar to taste. No carbonation, nothing else added. It was actualy really interesting. I wouldn't say excellent, but I wouldnt say bad at all. I can see now how it would make a good drink for when you were sick. I was expecting something much different, and overall, I am very happy with the experience. So much so in fact that I picked up one to go and brought it back home to my girl, who also was surprised at how good it actualy was. Cant say i'll be making a daily trip to get the stuff, but I can say i'm not against the idea of ever having it again. I rate this drink with a B+. Add an alcohol, and its an A. Good deal.:thumbsup BTW Alot of you have mentioned neo citron, something else I have never heard of. I will have to get some of that just in case the flu bug deceides to come knocking this year. |

I will think about this the next time I get high and get back to you.

I couldn't believe this when I saw it:
Hot lemonaide is the fastest growing beverage today. With health conscience people switching from coffee. All over the northeast and Midwest, hot lemonade is taking off. The fastest growing franchise in America today is "Lemmy Entertain You" which serves hot lemonade as their main product, and it's called a "hot lemmy" 20oz/16oz/etc. for anywhere from $2.95 to $4.99 Ummm, no, just kidding, hot lemmonade is fucking stupid! Sorry. . . |
Hot lemonade = Lemon Tea. Sugar or honey is the norm. Been drinking it forever, especially for colds. And yes, I drink cold coffee too.
|
If you're sick its great with a bit of cayenne powder.

I must admit, you had me rolling right along with that believing it all the way up untill the end. I tried the stuff, its not bad, but I couldnt see a business based soley on it at all. That was quite well written for the amount of bull shit that went into it though, Well done.:thumbsup |
