OK all of you music fans.....

The lineup for Coachella 2009 has been announced and tickets go on sale today!

This is a decent line-up and Friday tops the festival with Paul McCartney, Morrissey, and Leonard Cohen.

Hard to beat last years show with Prince and Roger Waters, but still an event worth taking in.

I'd go just to see Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band. Definitely a nice list, something for everyone.

Friday's line up seems to be all over the map, Paul, morrissey, and crystal method on the same stage is just weird. They should have made the dates have a different theme...like all 80's rock one day, all dj/techno another, etc. But it is all about money they mix up good acts with trash...and you got sit through music you think is whack. They want you to go to all 3 days. Lollapolooza was good because they always had a line up that was up and coming alternative.

I rather see most of these acts in a smaller place by themselves. Morrissey here was sold out before ticketmaster even opened.
