Since the beginning of recorded history, man has thought he was on the brink of extinction.

We'll live more and witness more fucked up things. And let's not forget about the beautiful part of life :1orglaugh

I know parents have certain responsibilities, but very few can teach that art. Better to have a pro, don't you think?
|
nothin like a good "sky is falling" thread...
2012 is just a new beginning, an end to the mayan calendar where it starts again... but not the end of the world... my prediction: tube sites will suffer a major blow this year due to all the illegal content flying around paysites and vod will dominate again word. |
"It's not pole dancing it's a pole fitness demonstration" LOL love the spin!
|
Our culture is more about making money and having "stuff" .. than living a worthwhile life that contributes something to society.
Nobody works because they want to. I love my work and the money is secondary... but there are many many people who don't have a choice and would rather be doing something else, but they can't. |
everyone is dressed whats the problem? if it motivates a kid to exercise because it sounds cool how is it bad?
|
oh noes :( let's fuck before planets collide! :D

you're offended by 14 year old girls seeing a poledancing demonstration? i hardly see how this is more offensive than your 14 year old daughter in a pop or r&b dancing class. its the exact same thing, no more sexualized than the hip grinding, squatting, thrusting, ass popping, and titty shaking they do there. just on a pole. not too far off gymnastics or anything else.
you do realize there are children in this world FAR YOUNGER who are being SOLD into HARDCORE SEX, right? |
The clip I saw showed the 14 year olds doing the same provocative moves on the pole that the local stripper does. Sorry this to me is wrong.
Health? Fuck You! a 14 year old can play sports she doesnt need to learn Pole Dancing. This thread justifies it's title by how many of you think this is ok |

Of course?! Imagine how long this thread would be if I listed everything? |

Hormone packed foods and water supplies, a hypersexualized society, and other environmental factors are causing girls to mature sexually at younger ages. A 14 year old girl is a very sexual being. She is going to have sexual interests, she is going to act provocatively. There's plenty of people who have their daughters in dance classes doing damn near the exact same thing strippers are doing already, minus the pole. Why does introducing a pole into the equation suddenly change things? Nobody is charging into these dance classes and screaming "you're teaching our daughter to act like bar whores and peelers!" The way teenage girls dress and act, they want to feel sexy. If getting up on the pole gets them interested in exercising and staying in shape, and their parents are ok with it, so be it. No one is saying you have to allow your daughter do it. I will agree that perhaps school isn't the best place to bring this in, and it should probably be ran passed the parents first, but really it's not like they're being taught how to strip, just how to swing around on a pole. The act itself is in no way obscene, only it's association to something which is. I am seriously baffled that this is the news headline that has you in such an uproar. The economy is bombing, people are loosing it and murdering their families, 6 year old children getting gunned off by their crazed parents, innocent people are dying daily in bullshit religious wars, kids are shooting up schools, massive fields of liquid plastic are spanning the oceans, our water supplies are poisoned by pharmaceuticals, the air and soil polluted, the list goes on. And your big concern is that a teenage girl might have some twinkle of sexuality stir up while swinging around on a pole? You sir are the type of person who concerns me about our future as a species... |
I'll give it 4 and go with the 2012 date.
4 more years! I will be watching with a beer in hand and sunglasses for the arrival of doom on earth. I have always wondered how mankind is to go extinct. Where will the last human take it's last breath? Will it be on earth, some distant planet? Not much longer to wait now. WOoto! Mankind deserves extinction and nature is the final say on all matters. |

All in good time, I am patient. Death will come to everyone eventually, and I just have a different spin on it. I am not suicidal but I have no fear of death. None whats so ever. Am I going to tempt it? Nah I still have survival instincts but the final moment does not bother me. It's weird I know but I do look forward to dieing. |

I don't see anything inappropriate in that video. It was a one time presentation for fitness week. See the sign in the background? Read the articles? I didn't see any girls on the pole, and if they were I'm sure it was just them fooling around, and I highly doubt it was very sexual in nature. Props to the woman doing her demo and the interview. She did a very tasteful job of her performance, and I don't think she misrepresented her activity in any way. Who says poledancing(fitness, lol) can't be a mainstream thing? This really doesn't appear to far off something you'd see in an olympic gymnastics competition, or the Cirque de Soleil.
Saying "14year old girls" is omitting facts here in support of the malformed opinion you've been twisted into. 14-19 year old girls and boys saw the presentation. The concern was raised when a bunch of teenage boys kept watching cellphone videos in class and giggling over their hardons. The only thing I see wrong here is a bunch of teenagers with cellphones in class... |
