Pretty sure that murders/suicides/murder-suicides happen practically everyday in this country...

The two most recent ones in the news over the past few days, in LA and Ohio, were NOT exclusively related to the economy.

In the LA case, the guy was fired from his job, and in the Ohio case, the article states: "Out of respect for the family, detectives are not releasing the actual motive, but it's not financial, and he was employed," Kelso said."

The one thing both murder-suicides had in common was that both were facilitated by guns...

Personaly, I think that stricter penaltys for illegal posession of firearms would do much more to solve the problem. They need to quit fucking with good, responsible gun owners and just start shit-canning the bad ones. And yes, there is a such thing as a "responsible" gun owner.:2 cents:

I am with ya on this, alot of people need focus on at least what they have instead of what they dont. I live in a pretty poor state but I am still glad for the things I actually have and very thankful.

H.R. 45 is a backdoor to more or less eliminating your constitutional rights to own a gun. You will have to take a series of tests (no explanation of what those tests will be) and your medical history will play a factor in your gun ownership. There aren't really any limits to what they can use against you for denial. Just whatever they put in there after they get it passed. Get a DUI? Sorry sir you're rights are revoked. Take valium for anxiety? Sorry sir you're denied.. You will get 2 years to comply. Once you're all signed up your constitutional rights can be denied, expire or be revoked. Sounds great doesn't it? They should just make all of our constitutional rights have expiration dates.
