Extended Tours...
 

More and more tours that I stumble across seem to be going into 5, 6 and sometimes even more pages. I expect to hit a billing page, and I keep actually seeing "more girls", with another page of archives.

Are these longer tours better / worse for converting the surfer? Or is there no difference as compared to say a 3 page tour?

Ahhh, the age old quesion. Long vs. short tour.

We just did a new extended tour (11 pages) for our Galleria site, and the numbers look good so far.

you need to make surfers feel very comfortable, with most using high speed a long tour can be viewed quick, back in the day a short tour was better as 16 pages would take 10 minutes to load
