New Rule #1 Interpretation-I can post to other adult messageboards now?
 

The old rule...

1. No spamming other boards! We don't spam other boards about GFY. We need the same courtesy!

The NEW rule...

1. No "spamming" of other ADULT Industry boards with the intent of stealing GFY members. Linking to another ADULT board in attempt to steal members from GFY will be grounds for immediate banning. This will be under the discretion of the moderators to determine "spamming." Abuse will not be tolerated.

I read that as meaning that I can post a link to another ADULT messageboard if I believe it warrants the attention of the GFY community, and then a mod will use their discretion to determine if it's a legitimate post or if there is just an intent to steal members from GFY.

Does that seem accurate?

If it is, congrats to the heads of GFY for realizing that there is indeed a difference between trying to STEAL GFY members and trying to INFORM GFY members.

Duh, thread title SHOULD have been "I can LINK to other adult messageboards now?"

Why not just stay away from posting links to other adult boards "at all". 99% of posting those has no use anyway.

That's the whole point. The OTHER 1% is relevant and/or important to the industry. Valuable posters shouldn't be worried about contributing HERE out of fear of getting banned when all they want to do is create discussion HERE on important industry issues.
