Why did iBill process my VISA rebills on the 15th?
I thought the new regulations came into force on the 15th of November. I'm based in Australia, registered with iBill on the understanding they couldn't process VISA from the 15th onwards. I confirmed this with my sales rep, contacted all the effected subscribers and then find out the rebills were processed anyway.

if you completed a visa registration form, and don't reside in usa, it appears you're in the clear for any fee's and visa rebills continue as usual.
:thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup |
Those non USA located iBill webmasters who completed the required registration should be looking over their shoulders.
Now that VISA knows you are outside the US, the next major announcement will want to cancel those webmasters who don't have a usa business presence. |
They may have rebilled the surfer, but you have not seen the money yet??.....could be yet another scam by the 3rd party processors??.....don't think for 1 minute they wouldnt keep the money for themselves and give you some bull shit excuse to not pay you???...:Graucho

Just checked and my VISA re-bills for the 16th are starting to be transacted also. I'm stuffed if I know what's going on now.
I also checked and they're still processing new subscriptions using VISA. I'd love to hear from any other non U.S & European iBill & CCbill clients to see what's happening with them. |
Maybe it was the biggest joke of all time?

I am an AU webmaster and confirm IBILL processed visa rebills on 15 & 16 for my account too.
Have changed main processing to Glo-bill but left old rebills with IBILL thinking they may continue rebills on Mastercard and Checks... but not VISA. Weird shit! |
Well the last I heard was that Ibill and CCBill could not establish whatever they needed to establish with an Australian bank.
They could do it in Europe but not here in Australia. We wrote to CCBill on November 1 instructing them to stop rebilling because we had moved to Globill. Of course they took no notice and kept right on doing it. However we got an email from them yesterday saying that they would no longer be able to rebill Visa for us so perhaps what someone else suggested further up the thread may be right. You may not see your money. |
hehe.. US webmasters paid for $750. Simply they should donate some dollars to VISA USA and republicans.
Be ready for Mastercard contribution :1orglaugh For other world nothing was changed http://www.stopstart.freeserve.co.uk...ormtrooper.gif |
Canadian Webmaster, my rebills 15th & 16th are going through just fine, I called IBill this morning and I was told that because I am in Canada I don't have to pay the fees and that they will continue to process and New and rebill VISA transaction.
Going to call CCBill on Monday to find out what they are doing. Just thought I would let you all know, but IMHO only US based webmasters had to pay the fee, because repeated phone calls to Canadian VISA got the response that they didn't know what I was talking about. Rod |

I paid the fee too and was told there was no way around it. I opened the LLC as well. Very weird... http://www.morecash.com Niche heaven :2 cents: |
Just confirmed with iBill that they're processing all non-US webmaster transactions through their European banking relationships. VISA is ok with this.
Therefore all rebills and new signups will continue to accept VISA until such a time as VISA won't allow it. In the meantime, iBill is still attempting to commence banking relationships in other regions. (e.g. Australasia) Glad I didn't rush out and register a U.S. or European entity:thumbsup |
And the winds of Ibill are blowing from another direction once again.
This is an actual photo of me now: :Hollering I have to say the words "Just confirmed with iBill" make me laugh uncontrollably. |
So this really was just a fucking put to US webmasters. That is bullshit.
