I've been playing COD5 a bit more now, quite used to all the maps etc. Still not as good a 4 though. I'm at level 48. Just want to get to level 65 till i get the flamethrower :winkwink:

No way am i taking prestige this time though... Fuck that ! :1orglaugh

I like COD4, but getting more into Crysis online. Big games, 1hr 30mins. tanks, jeeps and cars. It's pretty cool, but i do like that close combat with COD4.

Fastest way to get to 65 is by playing headquarters. You can acquire up to 1000+ points a game. :thumbsup add me! malakai209

I'm level 61 and can't wait to get the flamethrower. I'm going to be a flamethrower retard in headquarters just sitting around the HQ burning people. Doubt I will prestige for a while.

Ok i'll add you tonight ( i thought i already had last time but apparently not).

I've been playing 'Capture the flag' to try and get the points total quickly. Works ok but not a huge fan of it. I'll give 'Headquarters' a bash !! :thumbsup

Yea, Headquarters is the way to go. If your team captures the headquarter & and you die, you still get 5 points for every 5 seconds the headquarters is defended by your squad. :winkwink:

It's a fantastic game, the gameplay & graphics are out of the world

Me and a few RL friends do some COD4 most nights for a little fun. I never bought COD5 because it looked too gamey with the dogs and that kinda BS.

I like the game play in MW now the only upgrade I'd ask for is the ability to turn off certain perks and weapons and just release more maps. IMO COD4:MW would have been a perfect FPS if you could have the options to turn off all the gayness.

I agree, the one perk that really pisses me off is JUGGERNAUT!

Modern 2 should be a hit can't wait.

Exactly....All you gotta do is be on a good team, capture the headquarters, and camp somewhere collecting those points...

No other game gives you as many points....I do this when I really need to get to a certain level fast.

And I hate when people cry about Juggernaut when everybody and their mama has Martyrdom and Last Stand on....

Hardcore team deathmatch is the closest you're gonna get to that.

I didn't like World at War at all. They nerfed the shotgun classes that even with double tap you couldn't shoot fast enough. Plus the double barrel shotgun sucked as well.

Anyone try RE5 beta yet, its good but has little annoying querks especially not being able to give partial quanities of ammo to partner. But I've played Re4 on Wii and it might be the only game I'd prefer playing on the Wii then on the 360, the Wii aiming is perfect for this series but not regualr FPS for sure. And COD5 feels like i should have come out before Modern Warfare, its a step down for sure

COD 5 is insane, I have been playing nonstop for 5 days. The flamethrower is no big deal, you will go back to betties in an hour.

I can't fucking wait for MW2!! I played WAW and I am frankly a little sick of it.. it's a touch too slow and I've been back playing COD4 lately. BVF played with me the other day ... he's fun! :)

I played 5 until I got the flamethrower, used it a few matches and haven't played it in a month and a half... Just doesn't have the longevity that 4 had. Mind you I'm done with 4 too...

I LOVE Bouncing Betties. Man I love getting people to chase you and dropping betties as you run.. KABOOM! teehee

All I play in are HC servers that say they are realism. I don't always play death match though because a lot of times I'm in the mood for a faster paced game. I will often play sabotage or HQ, but you have to have good mods on the servers.

Other wise you end up with noob tube twits around every corner and non-stop air strikes and choppers, which gets old very freaking fast. COD4 would be so much more fun if you had more control over the server set up.

It's like they made the almost perfect game, then just tossed in a bunch of BS so the squeaker kids could ruin your fun..

btw you guys play on the PC or xbox? I'm on PC..

Domination works pretty good too, but I'll be playing some headquarters a little later.

As soon as I take another hit on this vaporizer, I'll be playing COD4 online and if you want to meet my Blue Tiger M-60 that I've nicknamed 'El Tigre', hit me up because I'll light your ass up with it...

I have CoD 4 also and still play that once in awhile.

it's actually fun, but gets repetitive very fast.

Love playing COD4 online (Xbox360) I finally ranked up to 53. I think the tip to COD4 is learning the maps. Once I had that down I was killing fools all over the place. Favorite gun is the G3 with red-dot sight. Man that gun is deadly. I just wish it had 3 round burst. Only a single shot, but if you get a good hit on someone they are down.

If you play at night like around 1am then you get some good players on there. If you play around 4pm then all you have is a bunch of kids camping out like crazy, all running the juggernaut perk. Takes like half a mag to put them down. I like to run and gun, I suck ass at sniper. I just hate it when I'm moving around then get picked off with one shot by some fool with a sniper rifle.

at level 61 in cod5 and as everyone says headquarters is the way to go, just waiting for the double xp so i can get to 65 faster...i like the detail and graphics of cod5, when i go back to cod4 i get a headache everything just looks so blurry

You do know that in order to get a gold M60, you basically have to be blue tiger in every gun in that category right?

Played COD5 for a few weeks, then went back to COD4... I just prefer it much more. I hate the guns on the new game.

I finished COD5 last week and haven't played it since Prestige 65 and done.

I finished the single player game on normal awhile back and now I'm on the before last level on Veteran. As for online I'm at like 54 (500 xp points to go to be level 55).

I tried to give WAW a go - but after a few days on the beta, I was back to 4. Personally I think Treyarch could have done more to improve the game than tweak what Infinity Ward had done to make COD4 so successful. So after a few days the lure of modern weapons was too much.

Im all for handing out an ass whoppin to those here still playing 4.

Yea.. I have the M60 maxed out with everything it can do and I'm working on the SAW now. I only need like another 20 head shots or something like that to finish off it's challenges then I can move on to the RPG or what ever that Russian gun is.

I would have had it already, but I've been using the M14 lately. I play on a 24/7 Broadcast server a lot so I get upstairs in that center room and just go to town. End up getting like 100 kills in a match paying sabotage.

Yeah basically is the same thing, but each time is different, use the mystery box, different strategies, kind of a game against yourself. I play that the most i think...

I hated the WaW demo but like the full game...at least in MP, I've yet to play the single player.

I still want Modern Warfare but WaW turned out OK. I think the dogs are cool. As long as there is a good map pack coming out it should be alright.

As for the weapons, the MP4 with the scope attached is almost identical to the AK-47 from COD4 which was my favorite weapon. Bouncing betty's take longer to deploy than my old favorite the Claymores, but they seem to do more damage. So I'm happy.

You didnt take Prestige in Call of Duty 4 homo! You were too scared coz I kicked yer ass at it so bad. I ran Prestige twice and still destroyed you !! Bring on Warfare 2 :)
