I am probably one of the only people on the planet that hates that woman..... NOT because she is black. I hate her because every stupid thing she does to "help" people, she has to have her fucking cameras right there to "look what I did, I am the greatest thing since sliced bread", and that makes me sick at my stomach. When you "help" someone, it should be out of the goodness of your heart, not to boost YOURSELF...... makes me sick.

Sorry for the rant..... it just makes me crazy. But you know, she probably had the money to buy that seat, since it seemed to be up for sale. But wow what a mistake that would be. :Oh crap

I don't mind so much when she has people like Ford or someone jump in and donate their products, I am all about that publication. what I am talking about is when she donates HER own personal money and has to have a media circus about it.... that drives me crazy.

And I put that it wasn't because she is black because so many accuse me of being a racist when I say I hate Oprah, they can't seem to get their head around the fact I JUSt don't like her.... I could care less what color she is, I don't like the way she "helps" people out of her pocket.

I should have made that more clear, my apologies for that... the "sponsored" donations, I have no issue with, it's the ones where she give of her own "millions" and has to make it a circus that drives me crazy......... let's be clear on that one. lol

The *problem* is that when she does it, she is also a large corporation looking for the same media circus. But I agree with you, its irritating as all hell. I can't stand her dumbass road trips and all that crap either.

The problem is politics is about public face these days, not ability. If she were qualified for the position, as much as a person disliked her, they would have nothing to complain about. As it stands, she is not, and should not get a senate seat purely because she was backing Obama.

She would never take it. She's not stupid. She realizes she has more power doing a pointless TV show because she has no real responsibility. She can parade out guest after guest who later turn out out be frauds or run a school in Africa that is so poorly managed there are allegations of widespread abuse right after it launches and nobody really cares.
