Cams.com/Streamray files IPO !
 

Just noticed this -- the parent company of Cams.com has filed for IPO! That isn't as good as it sounds though as they are doing it to try to raise cash to cover more than $400 million debts they have! I don't know much about finance but that doesn't sound good to me.

What does this mean for webmasters, models, and staff of Streamray.

It's not good. $400 million in debt during a real bad economy. No idea what Penthouse was thinking.

Do you have info on their current status. I model for acams.com I am wondering if I should take them off my work schedule. and look for another site to work with.

I would not worry about it. They aren't going out of business. The site's make money still. Penthouse is just in debt because they borrowed the money to buy AFF. If they go bankrupt, they'd simply sell Cams.com to someone else who would continue things.

Read the whole prospectus. Yes, they have massive debts owed but at the same time look at their overall business health. Its not as bad as the press makes it out to be.

At least they don`t have a tube site as pop under on their cam site, this proves for sure that cams.com aka streamray.com is not worried at all, and why would we worry then :)

if you worry about cams.com ... just promote CupidoCam.com - still doing good business due to many unique performers

Thanks, they are handful. I am trying to get my girl kitten out of the sofa she likes to sleep in there. I got her out but it's a hassle to figure out how to make sure she doesn't get in there.

I am loyal to cams as a performer. and I like to stay with them as long as possible . I have been with cams for over 6 years. and they have been extremely good to me.

I also wish they would bring back the top performer contest.
