So I have been annoyed about a LOT of peoples AVATARS (disgusting ones) - My IGNORE file WILL be updated with a lot of you all soon.

Right! Just thought of it myself - first one to go is the one with the puffed up vagina. Disgusting and not something I feel like seeing every fucking day.

The thing I made a while back in my sig would just completely strip out posts + threads from users on your list. Didn't even need to login to GFY. It was kinda annoying to see the 'this users is on your ignore list. click here to view' messages repeatedly. I don't think VBs ignore list will strip threads. Just blocks posts within threads..

Anyways, dunno if it works anymore (depends if gfy changed their source code enough to break it) you're welcome to try. Open source and just javascript.. lol..

that puffed up vagina made both my AdBlock Plus image blocker list AND my ignore list. tired of seeing that nasty shit a gazillion times a day.

Some people on the board simply post crap day in and day out, they just troll and serve no real purpose. I am constantly adding names to mine... and I use the FireFox FFVbul plug in which totally zaps their posts and all threads they start, and CLEARS the board of their clutter and even if someone QUOTES them , their quotes do not show in a thread. It is MUCH better than standard vbul ignore.

since using it, there are countless people that I will never see their post again and its worth every second it takes to right click and add their name.

youd be surprised at how better gfy looks without all the troll threads... you literally forget the users even exist here.

By the way, for those of you who already have a decent list in vbulletin already and don't want to have to go through finding all these people to add all over again, I have included an "import" button onto the ignore list page itself.

So add the FfVb extension, load up the message board, go to your ignore list and click the button beside: "To import your ignore list into your FfVb extension:"

Once you do that, you'll never see those user's posts again. No threads, no quotes and no boxes saying "this user is on your ignore list". :winkwink:

There's a couple that really piss me off - the puffed up vagina one makes me feel ill and some guy called Bobby-something has this weird black and white animated one that pretty much gives me a seizure every time I see it. I'd sooner go for the "ignore" option than switch off all avatars though - this place would look pretty dull otherwise!

I forgot how many people I got on ignore. But I do know one thing... If I see a sig that is just made to convulsive and annoy I skip reading them. FreakBUcks is amoung those sadly.
