I just watched my first Andrew Blake film, I thought it was amazing. I've heard his name for years but never had a chance to see his work. I'm now a fan :thumbsup

I guess that's what I love about it. You can tell he's not as anal as I am about the lighting and the exposure. It's more about the feeling and the mood. I have a tendency to over complicate and over analyze things sometimes. It was very refreshing to see his approach.

An Andrew Blake DVD was one of the first ones I ever owned (back in 97). And I think it is great for what it is. The girls always look great, the music could be better... But he has a look I think he does very well and appeals to certain people. I dont think people should be copying him but I would like to see the same attention to detail and camera angles as he does put into other porn movies.

My God .. This I don't believe .. Andrew is the first to use Steadicam in his films . he was also the first to go to HD Shooting back with the HDW700 later with the 900.

His work is awesome, his attention to detail is next to none! .. I strive to one day have the budjet to shoot a high end porn like his .. Freakin Awesome work ...

he's really good, i was just speaking about that with a bunch of mainstream photographers some months ago and i was surprised they knew him to tell you the truth....i'd say he does art.
