Malware infestation responsible for credit card data breach
Move over TJ Maxx, payment processor Heartland Payment Systems has potentially leaked up to 100 million credit and debit accounts into the black market. That number, if verified, would make this the largest data breach on record. It also means the United States has managed to set two national records in the same day. Guess which one folks are paying attention to? Awful convenient, that.

Was watching CNBC the other day and it was pointed out that you can be as careful with your info.. shred everything including invoices, bills, bank statements, card statements.. etc.. to avoid identity theft and crap...
You can do EVERYTHING right, but when one company is compromised, your info is gone and you're fucked anyway. |
check your cc statements!
