To the pirate from studio 21860 at clips4sale.com

Please stop stealing my content and ripping me off.

I don?t steal. I don?t cheat. I pay for my content. If you want to shoot your own stuff, please do it on your own dime. Your ?studio? will be shut down shortly, I hope, and I will help you network with the industry by posting your e-mail and phone number when I get it. Your IP address is 66.74.74.190.

Thanks!

Brandon

this could be good

what makes u sure the asshole frequents these forums?

munki 01-17-2009 01:26 AM

go get em...

Brandon Iron 01-17-2009 02:55 AM

I am absolutely sure he or she doesn't frequent these forums. Just venting. It's the 3rd time in the last year that I've found a bunch of scenes on there. It makes my brain boil and my way of venting is to expose this person.

Not meaning to waste anyone's time. I just hate seeing this kind of flagrant theft.

(Yes, I have contacted clips4sale and Neil has been very helpful in the past. He's a good guy.)

bring them down

Ryan St. Germain 01-17-2009 03:07 AM

Neil is great about having things removed. I've had to do it a number of times. Thankfully a lot of our fans sort of police the site for us, so when a new store pops up, they are VERY quick to let us know that someone is doing the same.

It's not bad incentive to offer people some sort of reward for doing it for you (it'll save you a lot of time hunting for it, plus can motivate loyalty); a free month or a fan sign is a great way to go. I also have a standing deal with a few other producers, and we all look for each others content when we are on that sort of a tear.

Uh-oh's...stealing content is not very nice:disgust

Thank you to Mike South for pointing this guy out to me. Mike didn't have to take time to write me but he did. Thank you.

On the two other occasions I contacted the persons behind the "studios," I was given the same lame story: I bought it from so-and-so. You should contact them.....blah blah blah.

It's just funny to me to actually get someone on the phone who is ripping you off. There is always a palpable tension/awkwardness listening to them. It's obvious they never thought they would get a phone call.

Thank you, too, to Neil from www.clips4sale.com. Quick response and problem solved!
Whoo hoo!!!!

If you would like to say hello to the pirate personally, drop Karl King an e-mail at [email protected]. My condolences to his newly-deceased store.
