Sorry, but the 747 have four engines, not two. They are both designed to be able to fly without one engine running, as are almost all jets.

I'm waiting to see the video of the landing. Surely with all the webcams and security cams in NYC there has to be footage.

Thankfully they are all alive and no real injuries. That pilot did a damn good job of landing that plane on the water.

Get over it, I saw the news when I was at lunch. The 747 thing was just too funny to pass up. And then it got even better.

So I never made any toy planes when I was a kid... Im not fluent with models...

I heard they actually shot the plane by elastic band from the Empire State Building as a new promotional gimmick for a club opening.. and if all goes good they are going to use it for a new ride at Magic Mountain .. just what I heard anyway ..

Great work by the pilot and a quick response by the rescuers. Thank God for their skill and quick response making sure there were no deaths and worse injuries! :thumbsup

i'm very happy to see that all the passengers got off the plane and only a few had to go to the hospital.
