I told my parents a couple of years ago but just within the last few months, my Dad has shown a little interest in what I do. He was over at my house watching TV one afternoon and I offered him a beer. He told me "No thanks, that's your beer". What the hell is that supposed to mean? We both drink Bud Light. The shit hit the fan. Just because my morning commute is about 10 feet, that DOESN'T mean that I don't have a job. So I don't have to report to some asshole boss every morning, it's still a job. He was completely belittling me for about 10 minutes about how I need to "put my education to work" and "grow up". In the heat of the argument there is a knock on the door. Guess who? It was UPS with my brand new camcorder that I got with my ARS rewards points.

Dad couldn't comprehend that I got that just for selling memberships to a site AND got paid for each signup I generated. All of a sudden he was in awe of my job. He asked if it is so easy, why aren't there more people doing it. Jesus Christ, Dad...how long has it been since you have surfed the 'net? There are thousands of people doing this. I showed him my sites, software, how I generate sales, even showed him GFY (where all our bidness gets done).

The last thing he said was "So if your Mom and I wanted to start a site like these..."

Three years ago I shot fo a Montreal Company. Everything was going very well until mother saw the freakin movie as she was switching chanels. All shit hit the fan and things have never been the same since.
