Man City offers 100 million Euros for KAKA'

100 million Euros to AC Milan and 221,000 UK Pounds a week to hi for 5 years.

I am afraid that if this is true the BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD will leave us for good.

The premier league is doing what the Serie A did in the 90's, buying all the best players.

I hope this won't happen......but we still have Pato.

NaughtyRob 01-13-2009 04:40 PM

Thats a crazy amount of $.

borked 01-13-2009 04:44 PM

And they said Jack Walker was nuts for buying Alan Shearer for 3.3 million back in the day

polish_aristocrat 01-13-2009 04:46 PM

I hate the money in today's professional sports.

I mean surely these guys are worth alot and should earn a lot, but come on, $100M?

What's been the record, say, 15 years ago? I guess it's been like not more than $15M.
I'm talking about football/soccer obviously.

yeah in a way i agree with you but this is where Football is going, same thing happened to US pro sports with the only difference that nobody cares for American football and baseball outside the US . :1orglaugh

scottybuzz 01-13-2009 05:16 PM

Awesome, fuck the rest of the leagues. Prem is where it's at.
Huge problem though, if they pay kaka that much and what they already pay robinho, others are gonna be pissed sooner or later. man city would have to buy a whole team full of stars and give them super high wages. i dont think we have seen nothing yet...

EthnicLover 01-13-2009 07:44 PM

Damn Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

I don't think even Kaka can bring Man City to the top of the table. Besides he's an Italian citizen, I thought he was staying for the long haul.

Definitely not this season. Man City is currently sitting in 15th.

And from what I have read Man City offered AC Milan 100M Pounds to get Kaka and 75M Pounds for his salary. That's a HUGE amount.

After Shock Media 01-13-2009 08:00 PM

I do not pay attention to soccor/football - I am however having a giggle fit reading the name as caca. Please tell me it is pronounces another way.

Twistys Tim 01-13-2009 08:20 PM

I haven't seen anything bout Man City offering anything for Kaka.

I say let him go for that kind of money BUT only if the money is used on new players. Not like the Shevagate were we got 40 mil and didn?t get any players to replace him (I don?t count Oliveira as a worthy replacement). We have Gourcuff to replace him and money could be used on new GK, world-class striker and couple of CD?s.

By the way, have you guys seen Gourcuff?s goal this weekend??

One of the nicest goals I have seen in my life and I watch like 10 games a week!

theS2O 01-14-2009 06:58 AM

that's just crazy amount of money..

Klen 01-14-2009 07:21 AM

Scott McD 01-14-2009 09:41 AM

Kaka has already said he will NOT be going to Man City.

He said he wants to stay at Milan for years to come. I know players say this all the time, but i do think he will stay where he is for a while yet.

If he does move, i certainly don't think it would be to Man City anyway... :1orglaugh

Scott McD 01-14-2009 09:44 AM

Here's the story infact :

Quote:

Kaka rejects City move

"As long as the club keep high objectives, my desire will always be to stay at Milan," Kaka told Mediaset, which is also owned by Milan president Silvio Berlusconi.

"I want to get old here and my objective for the future is to become this team's captain.

"I refused important offers in the past."

Start by calling it football :winkwink:

Poppy 01-14-2009 12:04 PM

Kaka is the man.

marcop 01-14-2009 12:25 PM

If Kaka goes to Manchester, it will be to United, not City.

Phil 01-14-2009 01:23 PM

Roman Abramovich feels like little punkass compared to that Arab guy.

Jarmusch 01-14-2009 02:34 PM

There's no money in football, move along.
