We are just about to book our tickets for Mardi Gras, anyone else going?

We live here so Mardi gras (NOLA) comes to us!

nah they didn't. That was just the mayor throwing a tantrum because the city council overrode his vetoes. So what does he do? threaten to cut the sanitation in the quarter. Not going to happen. They already fixed the issue.

there is soooo much drama in NO government right now.... but just know they don't skimp on Mardi Gras. So come on down. :)

wizzo its mardi gras year-round here, they couldnt do that, theres PISS, VOMIT, and everything else on the streets of NOLA every day of the week, 365 days a year,... not just Mardi gras.

As Cherry said, that was just Ray Nagin throwing a fit, but when it comes to mardi gras, they dont cut any funding. And trash is cleaned up every night, they hose the streets clean every morning whether its mardi gras or not theres hundreds of people walking down Bourbon st every night...

We will be out there filming too, maybe we should hook up a night or so!
