Nope. Many models have those kind of armpits, irregardless of whether or not they have implants. I usually just Photoshop them out.
Human skin is very pliable. The biggest scars are usually seen with inframammary incisions below the breast.
With periareolar incisions (generally a half-moon cut along the areola), the scar can be somewhat hidden by the areola itself, so it one of the preferred implant methods by many models.
With the two aforementioned implant methods, the implant bags are inserted already filled. Models have options such as having the implant bags placed below the muscle tissue, which can result in firmer, more well-shaped breasts, and different quantities of liquid (since many women have different size breasts to start with - it's true).
With implants placed through the armpit or the belly button, the bags are inserted empty with a filling tube attached. The incisions therefore are quite small, and often undetectable within a few months after surgery.
Personally, I am not a big fan of implants, however since I have to deal periodically with models that want to get them, I try to provide them with good advice as to what their options are, and to direct them to surgeons whom have a good record.
