[email protected] - fuck people are dumb!
Ok maybe I'm just stressed....but It's 2009 & people are still signing up with www. in front of their e-mail. Back in 2001 i thought..."Hey Maybe its just a phase". Nope....people are still just as computer savvy as they were in 2001.
Although i guess ignorance is bliss when it comes to our business. So i just hand edit sign up's for now.....while i wait on our programmer to add in the anti-www module. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to stick my dick in a 21yo for the rest of the evening. :pimp |

Never underestimate peoples stupidity. |
We get it constantly. We have a filter before accounts make it to admin that removes it.

Seriously, it may be because many non-internet ads such as TV just show a domain, so they're used to prepending "www." to everything internetz......
|
When I sold scripts I used to have aol blocked via .htaccess. Those motherfuckers are pretty much braindead.
Inevitably they would try to "publish" scripts using frontpage and then get mad at me when they didn't work. Trying to explain FTP and permissions just wasn't worth the hassle. |
I used to get that shit all the time. You know you can still email them with the www. on there and it works for AOL.
|
something like "..., username: john123, email: john123, ..." ... oh man ... :)
|
what i find even dumber is websites that dont work using domain.com but work using www.domain.com
I can expect an aol user to be somewhat clueless because they are already using aol. But i should expect a webmaster knows the difference. |
