To start or not.... a new TGP?
 

How worthwhile would it be to start a new TGP?

I have one on the back-burner. Design is in, scripts are in. Just needs to be fed some content, traffic, and trades.

Worth the effort?

Short answer: no.
Long answer: perhaps, but only if you *really* know what you're doing.

No skim tgps are always worth it... if you plan on starting a teen skim tgp... I would forget it. The whole teen niche is just fucked if you are looking for traffic trades, etc for a skim tgp... you will end up with a tgp with very little traffic...

If I were you... I would start a no skim tgp with little bitty thumbs and lots of text. You will gain bookies and there are lots of good no skim trades for someone in your position.

do what you want to and don't rely on what everyone here says. there is still money in TGPs (as long as you know what you are doing), but not like the money from 5 years ago.

honestly, i think the correct answer to this or any "should I start a ___ site?" is as long as you have experience and know what your doing then go for it. If you don't know what your doing or ever ran a TGP site, then id look at this of more a hobby

I know guys doing well with no skim these days. If you are driving traffic to your own sites then it may be worth your while.
