Why music from the UK the best?
The United Kingdom has produced many of the world's most influential artists and bands, such as The Beatles, The Clash, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, The Sex Pistols, The Who, Deep Purple, Queen, Genesis, Rod Stewart, The Prodigy, Elton John, Oasis, Blur, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Depeche Mode, The Stone Roses, Black Sabbath, The Rolling Stones The Smiths and The Libertines.
The UK has also been credited with the creation of many different musical genres, these include drum and bass, garage, acid house, punk, industrial, oi, grime, heavy metal, britpop, power electronics, new-wave, grindcore and goregrind among others. CATCH UP YANKS :) :1orglaugh :thumbsup |
Cool Britania! :thumbsup
|
Honourable mentions:
Suede, Babyshambles, Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Lost Prophets, The Verve, The Coral :winkwink: |
Unfortunately music seems to be the Uk's only powerful export product.
In that regards, America kind of finish the English off in virtually every other industry. But hey as long as the spice girls are making tunes, who cares ;) |
