New and Improved GFY Rules! ***The Update You Have Been Waiting For***
 

1) No "spamming" of other ADULT Industry boards with the intent of stealing GFY members. Linking to another ADULT board in attempt to steal members from GFY will be grounds for immediate banning. This will be under the discretion of the moderators to determine "spamming." Abuse will not be tolerated.

2) Signature rules. Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of default size and color. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Yes there is a reason this is so big. Also putting your text in a cell and making it look like a button is against the rules. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

3) Anything goes, except do not post people's personal information, or attack peoples personal lives or families, stick to the issues and the bullshit. ANY WHOIS information is considered public information, it is not considered personal information. So don't bitch at us if you put your home address as your personal info on WHOIS.

4) Don't post links to illegal sites. Calling someone a Pedo, Refferring to them as a Pedo, Stating they promote Pedo, posting of Pedo links, and Death Threats are now grounds for immediate banning.

5) Posting images of death, dismemberment, or animal cruelty will not be permitted and will be removed.

6) To cut down on the number of Fake Nicks and Surfers. You must register for GFY with a non-free email account. Yahoo, Gmail, live, etc registered accounts will no longer be validated.


We have tried to make clear some of the more vague issues that have come up in the past. We are also going to be making a concerted effort to get back to the roots of this board. Adult Business Oriented Webmasters!

Can I just say perhaps a page of GFY top banner sponsors, might be a good idea also?
When I first joined I didn't know jack about who you sponsored etc.... and just decided to stick with a little banner in the end because i didn't know who they were.

Anyway the new rules speak for themselves and if they are broken then the bans will definately be for said rules above :thumbsup

Most surfers won't go this far. Besides it is a lot easier for us to ban 1 URL from registering then it is to try and figure out is a yahoo address is real or not.

Think the animal cruelty may be a slightly vague one. Peoples views would differ greatly and one persons hunting video or picture is another's cruelty video and same can be said of perhaps some PITA propaganda photo/video. Does not also exactly point out if humorous ones are outlawed now such as a guy getting rammed up an elephants ass or someones off topic bestiality photo.

This is up to our discretion and that is also why this is not a bannable offense, but yet a removable one. That doesn't mean that abuse of the rule can't lead to banning. But if the community as a whole and/or the mods decide that a image/video is of a cruel nature and not a humorous one. Then we will take the appropriate action.

Having rules is part of being civil.

Can we also dis-allow people to just post with "Sig Spot" etc. Fuck, if you want a sig spot you should have something... anything to say but "Sig Spot"!

Can we also get rid of those stupid god damn contests that clutter up the front page with trying to get people to do thousands of posts? Perhaps we could at least limit all such contests with prizes for post #X to be for top sponsors of the board.......

Please consider people who outsource posters from other countries to post for them,Post Bots should also = permanent banning.I would expect the same treatment if I ever used one.
