Spawned from Tom's thread:

Who still has the eight disks of the Win 3.1 for Workgroups floppys?

I'm dying to get a copy of those back for framing and wall-hanging purposes.....

kenny 11-13-2002 07:57 PM

I am confused how does windows disk and sheetrock go together?

NetRodent 11-13-2002 07:58 PM

I've got some DOS 5.0, 5.25" disks. I'm pretty sure they still boot too.

melt 'em down, mix into the mud, strap on the stilts, and start slathering up your joints..... how cool would it be to say you drywalled your place in Windows 3.1? :glugglug

X37375787 11-13-2002 07:59 PM

Amputate Your Head 11-13-2002 07:59 PM

Have you actually tried walking with those stilts? I could never get the hang of it. I ounce had a job finishing drywall for a entire prision that was being built a few years back

I got one of the first sound cards made for a pc. it was more than 800 bones.

i honestly cant even id it. a friend tossed it my way. my friend was coding reverbs for early dsp processing - i cant bring myself to throw it away yet I have no use for it.

hehehe

NetRodent 11-13-2002 08:07 PM

If you can hang on to that sound card for 50+ years you might be able to get your $800 back.

You got that right, unless of course you are the guy who owns the company. Those big shot commerical construction company owners rack up on those goverment jobs charging by time and material.

This is off topic, not really my business, and may have been asked and answered. You were missing in action for a few days and AaronM suggested that you might have been moving. Care to fill me in?
