Whats the appropriate tip for an hour long massage.....not the ones with the happy endings :-)

I usually tip $10-$20 depending on how cute the girl is =)

I've never understood why people tip when they've already paid for a service.

Because you like to be nice...I've been there before too I guess is why...I once had to rely on tips.

I would think 10 or 15% would work nicely. More if you really want to be generous and they were worth it.

No employee should have to rely on tips. Their employer should pay them a reasonable wage.

Fucking Lamers -

Tipping for a massage by a certified massage therapist session should be consistent with that of how you would tip a barber or hair stylist. It should be in the range of 10-15% if you're really happy about the service.

Regardless of what some of you think about tipping, it IS very much the norm in that industry. However, I am sure massage therapists realize that alot of people probably don't think about tipping.

It would be nice if it was that way but they want you to do your best for the tip. They get better workers that way. If you don't do a good job, you don't get tipped well, you quit and do something else.
