Dreamweaver question....
Mmmm k...i'm doing some design work tonight, & for some odd reason i can't figure out how to change the cell border colors. Like how do you define a cell's border within a layout table. Can't seem to find it anywhere in the options.
I know i probably should have learned to design with notepad years ago, but i slacked so now im stuck fucking around with dreamweaver to do all my tables/cells. |
it's right there in the properties window.... are you blind?
|
|
Actually no it wasn't in front of me...for some reason i've always coded in the layout view...its not until you switch to normal/standard view that those options pop up on the properties bar.
& yes...legally blind... |

Thanx big guy :thumbsup |
Don't get me wrong, Dreamweaver is the best out there, but for some reason I hate working with tables and cells with it.
Actually, I use a simple webeditor called Namo WebEditor. It isn't a resource hog, it's easy to get comfortable with, and it does everything Dreamweaver can do (correct me if I'm wrong). I don't know of anyone that uses this except for me - hehehe. I'm special. :glugglug |

You gotta be able to manipulate and tweak, if not completely code html without the generic design view crutch.... or you'll forever be limited to 'What You See Is What You Get"..... hehe.... :glugglug |

You can just click on the icon under the question mark in the upper right hand corner there. That opens up only the piece of code that you are working with. It's great for making quick code changes. |
oh and I almost forgot.... drink lots of beer.... it helps immensely!!!

I switch between code and design views like every couple seconds when I work on shit.... |
Change colors in a table .........no problem.
Just get out the Crayola crayons and do it right on the screen. The 'puter will know what you want 'puters are smart these days. |
