What happened to my traffic???
 

OMFG! My traffic was cut in half WTF! Is google fucking with porn sites? Are they trying to clean house?

My google traffic for yesterday was only half what it was the day before.

Anybody else having this problem?

You never know what the hell Google is going to do until is done. Give it a few days and things might bounce back.

there is no such thing as "my" traffic, it was google's traffic, now it is going to someone else, but it wasnt "yours" ;)

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just keep working on getting backlinks to your sites and updating with original content daily. You'll get that traffic back soon enough.

My traffic more than quadrupled. I had about 2 hits, now I'm at 9

Mine is off 30 percent from last week, right after I submitted Google Sitemaps. It dropped the next day!

mmm this is why I like to diversify... and just to reply to the original question .. yes.... Google is most definitively up to something horrible with porn sites, specially those that are getting all their traffic from the SERPs... or at least thats what I've seen... several of my sites dropped like a fucking rock and I jizzed in my pants....

Time to hit my other traffic sources while my letter of apology, flowers and romantic dinner invitation arrive to Google..

BTW... I have also noticed that google SERPs for several terms now look like fucking spam pages .... I guess they are seriously trying to raise revenue from their contextual advertising shit....am I the only one seeing these changes? or is it the data server I am hitting?....

I'll check with my underground sources later on to confirm...

Something was definitely going on yesterday. Not only traffic, but email delivery problems, also. Seems to be okay today.

That's what happens when google employees start hand selecting results. You get shitty results.

Yahoo and MSN have been keeping it real though.

LOL, you are joking I hope. MSN has the most idiotic results for most porn terms. Yahoo is ok, almost as good as google.

I quite like certain terms on MSN/Live. I don't use it to search personally, but some of the keywords are certainly favorable for me. MSN does need to clean out their .edu spam though.

i removed googles backlinks from my servers so google is having traffic problems now ...

I've got one site that goes way up for about 6 months and then way down for about 6 months...

I took a major hit in the summer on a bigger site and it's never recovered.

Ive got quite a few sites and it they are always going up and down in the rankings no matter what I do. Just keep at it and cross your fingers.
