What is with all the Bailouts?
I just saw on TV here that a store Boscov's is asking for a bailout now. They filed for bankruptcy a number of months ago and has shut down a number of stores over the years.
If you dont know the store, its like upscale version of Kmart, they sell everything from clothes to treadmills and sneakers. In either case, they are located in poor traffic areas or crappy malls. Everytime I have been in a Boscovs there is hardly anyone there. Anyway, them asking for a bailout is just ridiculous. they are failing because their store sucks. regardless of the economy, they would fail anyway. It annoys me that companies like this try and use the "bailout" to score some easy tax pay money to save their failing company. IMO, we as tax payers should vote for these types of things. F this, tomorrow, im asking for a bailout :321GFY |

exactly what you said about Boscov's can be said about the automobile industry and the financial institutions.
the automobile companies were failing way before the economy went to shit. their cars are inferior compared to european and japanese cars and always need to be repaired, and they never adapted. well, financial institutions. do i have to tell you it is their own fault for going bankrupt by getting into risky loans? i think this record has been played over and over again. |
