After a lot of thought I've decided (I think) to sell Elitepornreviews.com
It's been a hard decision, I don't need to sell it but decided I want to put all my time and money into my mainstream projects. For someone with the time and resources EPR could do so much more than what I've done with it but it's kinda taken a back seat to my other projects.
Some info about the site
Income: I don't want to state specifically in public but I will say that it earns six figures a year.
The overall conversion rate in 2008 was 1:367 raw. My best sponsor converted 1:16 and there are quite a few who convert under 1:100 consistently. The site has some good SE exposure and stable traffic.
Expenses: Hosting, review writers, small amount of paid advertising (adwords)
The site has a custom back end which runs the site. Besides adding/editing reviews, etc. Some of the features are: Integration of 'outside reviews'/rss link exchanges, comments system (currently turned off), grouping by sponsor (to show bonus sites, etc), detailed stats including reads, tour hits, etc. The system is pretty easy to move to a new domain and use as a review script for anything else.
I'm also going to include EPR's 2 sister sites Elitesizereviews.com and Eliteadultreview.com
To be honest the only promotion I've done with those is to put up a link on Elite Porn Reviews but they still make some sales.
