WWC Refuses to Award Prize
 

I was the 750 post in this contest: it/867304-worldwidecontent-biggest-content-sale-titles-low-49-contest-inside.html

I'm being told that since GFY didn't let the thread continue on to the 2000 ending, I will not be given my 5 content DVD prize, in spite of the fact that the previous winners have already claimed and received theirs. WTF??

This is just wrong.

wow thats lame. shame when companies do this because instead of handing out what the offered, they now loose out on a number of webmasters not trusting that they will come through with what they offer

Yes, I would also suggest suing.

I am sure you will get your prize. Those guys are good people, and just give them some time, they will get back to you.


WWC has always come through for me and a lot of companies I know.

We honor every contest... There was a miss communication in our office and the matter has been corrected.

We ALWAYS posted on the contest threads that if GFY closes the contest that it would be over... This one time my guy missed that statement on the thread and the thread was closed by GFY...

Since he forgot to post the rule then WE WILL HONOR ALL THE WINNERS... Contact Bako to get your content.

In the future ... Just make it clear that if GFY closes the thread, no winnings will be awarded to any participants.
