Only reason I can think of that anyone would take it would be so they can have a doctor prescribe it to them, not take it and use the real thing and therefore you can not be legally busted on some drug test for probation or some shit. Think of it as a THC test loophole.
The high feels fake and super heavy. Not at all pleasant. Just that real instant heavy high you may feel if you ate a whole bunch of THC baked goods without being high first. You know how it sort of hits you like a truck all at once? Just like that. However it is not at all as mellow nor relaxing. I found it also very easy to have issues with paranoia and anxiety while on it. It also did not make me hungry at all and that is one of the main reasons I take it in the first place.
Then like I said before I do not find it good for pain relief. I really do not think marijuana itself even the natural form is a good pain reliever. I am very pro pot but I do not prescribe to it being some miracle cure all plant. When it comes to pain it ranks very low. It can help with cramping, and muscle ache but that is more to do with it relaxing than it helping the actual pain. It does though make you sleepy (both) and that can assist when your in pain since your less apt to suffer if your asleep.
Why are you curious anyways? I know typically it is just prescribed for a few ailments and most of them are cancer issues. Which is sucks for.
