I may be pissing off some videographers by saying that but this is the perception.

The still photograph can be "studied' by the surfer in a way that video can not.
The photo angles can be omni-directional; where as in hardcore video this makes less sense.

Instead of paying for male talent, the money can go toward props and costumes.

The babe needs to be beautiful from top to bottom with nice hair to work with.

Basically the approach would be "I'm going to make this girl a movie star".

If the solo girls will do live chat on the site then there are your upsales!
