Of course they don't want a war, but they want more time to prepare for one. You don't really think they don't have chemical weapons do you?

You know what they want? They want a weapon large enough to tell the world to fuck off when it tries to intervene in it's internal affairs. Saddam doesn't want a war, he wants total control of the internal affairs.

I agree with you 100%, why would they get attacked in a couple of days, when they can have a couple of weeks to prepare ?

CDSmith 11-13-2002 10:59 AM

A nice full-scale pre-thanksgiving invasion would be nice for some holiday entertainment. Yes, I plan on celebrating U.S. thanksgiving as well, because more turkey is a good thing no matter how badly you slice it.

Saddam's already showed he's not interested in weapons only to defend himself.

jreaka 11-13-2002 11:27 AM

Bush will still get some kind of war.........Isn't it interesting that the tape of Bin Laden's voice was just released today?

Slick 11-13-2002 11:37 AM

Well, I saw on the news yesterday that IRAQ is trying to buy 5 million shots of vacination and another 5 million of those pills that save ya from Antrhax, so what's the trying to tell ya ??? He's getting ready.

Joe Sixpack 11-13-2002 11:41 AM

I'd like to see Saddam fuck Bush up one on one.

Bush is a fuckin' bully who deserves to have his lily-white Republican arse kicked.

Every nation has chemical weapons, you can even create some nice chemical weaponry in your garage. Bush has no evidence that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, the UN inspection team will have as task to find these weapons.

Didn't Mullah Omar (Taliban leader) propose that? I thought he said that he will take on Bush and Blair together against him alone instead of going to war

I must say, that's a pretty cool thing to propose :1orglaugh

If they had nothing to hide, when the previous inspectors were there, why did Iraq delay them when they tried to enter while they were carting shit out the back?

Shooter 11-13-2002 11:48 AM

And just to clarify, I'm not a Bush supporter at all, but wouldn't mind seeing Saddam dealt with, whether that's by removing his weapons or removing him.

Joe Sixpack 11-13-2002 11:56 AM

I want Bush removed from power by someone in the middle east for manufacturing chemical and nuclear weapons.

I can't stand hypocrisy. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

You, "Sir", are obviously not an American citizen who lost someone in the 9/11 attack. When you have walked in my shoes, then your comments will mean have validity, otherwise feel free to "fire up another shrimp on the barbie" there in the "Land of Convicts".

And what does this have to do with Saddam?

Besides, the USA had 9/11 coming. You fuck with other countries and you pay a price. Well, you've just stated to pay.

"Land of the Convicts"? Gee, that's original. Do Americans know anything about Australia that isn't 200 years out of date? I guess not. :1orglaugh

Keep in mind... the U.S. government has the ability to see a hair on my nutsack through my pants from space. There's no "sneaking out the back" when it comes to U.S. intelligence.

Bwahahaahahahaa.....

How did Bin Laden manage to "sneak out the back" then? Why isn't his nutsack under surveillance?

Go fuck yourself. As soon as your country is hit with terror attacks you will come crying to us. Waaaaaa waaaaaaa save us from hitler.

The US has been too tolerent. If clinton didnt let things slide for 8 years our enemies would be insignificant.

That my friend is the billion dollar question... If you think for a second Bin Laden has somehow managed to get beyond reach of the U.S. military then you have severly underestimated U.S. military might.

I believe this has to do with politics. Its the same reason we didnt do things like blow up the cocain factories in columbia, or carpet bomb the opium fields in afghanistan. Politics. Hes probably in pakistan and if we go in there and raise hell, it would turn the tide against the somewhat usa friendly regime in there.

Oh, I see. You are letting him get away!

Bwahahaahahahaahaha!

That's priceless.

Rich J. 11-13-2002 12:24 PM

Letting him get away would be the most beneficial thing to the sitting president. Think about how much responsibility he has been absolved of when it comes to the economy, the deficit. Look how much money he has been granted for military action in the middle east. Look how much public support he has garnered for himself and his party SOLELY based on the "War Against Terra". In all other areas he has failed miserably. I'm not saying this is some white house conspiracy or whatever. Just noting how well its worked out for Bush that Bin Laden still has not been dealt with.

Herb Kornfield 11-13-2002 01:14 PM

This situation will continue to fester until there is action taken either positive or negative from either side.

I would like to think that the US can concentrate of the problems at home here instead of overtaking the whole world, many have tried, none have made it in recorded history.

If the US invades Iraq and replaces the regime, there will be more turmoil, then a HUGE investment and support, massive cost overruns, and the US will weaken under this debt, I would hate to see 20 years of recovery and no resolution when it is all said and done.

Lets just all get along and stop the madness. there is no winner in war.

And we all know how trust worthy and truthful Saddam is. I guess we can just recall our troops. Saddam has said it's okay to come inspect.

No news source from the EU? LOL...... Who the fuck goes to CNN for news anyway? Oh... Europeans.

Scootermuze 11-13-2002 04:23 PM

This isn't the first time Saddam has done this...
He ignores the warnings, sits back and laughs, then at the very last minute he says, "Sure.. ok.. I'll play along".. and everyone thinks things are lovely.. then he refuses to show the inspectors what they want to see.. then they call the inspectors back home.. and it's over.. Then S. will do it again.. same way...

Let's just keep spending millions and millions of bucks playing this cat & mouse game and thinking, "Guess we showed him!"
