New Camaro SS and I don't have pics!
I was talking with my friend last night that has a Chevy dealership down in Naples Florida and he was telling me about how someone had one of the new Camaro SS and they were driving it down from Michigan to Marco Island for promotional purposes and they let him keep it at his dealership while they were in Marco.
He said the car is awesome and is really well designed both inside and out as compared to the Mustang which he said was great on the outside but had a much plainer interior. He said the sound of the new Camaro SS was great as well. Should be a hot seller :thumbsup I told him I was pissed he didn't give me a call so we could get some killer pictures and video of it. He said it never crossed his mind and that we could have easily done it since they just handed over the keys to him. I think he said it already had 12,000 miles on it. Anyways, he said he has a few ZR1s coming in and he'd try and make it up to me with pictures, video and a test drive :winkwink: Here's some pics and video of the Red Camaro SS I missed in Naples http://www.camaro5.com/ |

I'm a huge fan of the Ford Mustang, but I have to admit the interior of the newest Mustang is pretty fucking ugly.
Camaro's downfall was it's price. I remember my friend and I bought cars at the same time, me a new Mustang and him a new Camaro. I don't remember the details but we pretty much paid the same amount, but the Mustang had power seats, power windows, power locks..... The Camaro didn't. How the fuck in the world can you sell a car without power windows? The new Camaro looks nice really..... |

giving the Mustang it's retro look on the outside but the interior was pretty much plain and how the new Camaro had nailed it both inside and out. The fact that Chevy covered every detail is what stuck out to him the most. Sure wish I would've got to check it out :( |
Say what you want about the mustang but it has a FIVE YEAR head start and is about to release a NEW model which will have an improved interior... So would you like to compare to think of the Camaro as 5 years late to the game or a year early?
The CHallenger SERIOUSLY whiffed... the car looks great but is about 800lbs too heavy. This Camaro is seriously overweight too :( Also take a look at prices... this new camaro is more expensive than it should be. I helped my aunt get a BRAND new V6 mustang for 19 out the door a few years back BEFORE the auto industry crashed... I used to own an 05 Mustang GT (was one of the first couple thousand out of the factory) and have spent a decent amount of time in a Challenger R/T but haven't gotten my hands on a camaro yet. I don't really care for the way the coupe looks. I'm waiting for the 'vert to finally come out. The "retro" look comes alive without the top but the coupe looks pretty shitty from some angles. I have a '68 mustang in my garage right now that I've owned for years. The new mustang seriously nailed the retro interior. My uncle owned a '69 camaro for about as long as I can remember and THAT was a fuckin monster. |
I don't give a fuck what anyone says. If you go down to looks alone. The Mustang looks like a piece of shit and that Camaro... well... When I first saw it, I came.

That Camaro .... I freaking love it :thumbsup
