the phrase 'peace on earth good will to men' - we've given up, we don't even feel right saying it anymore because we know what a hateful mess the world is and we know nothing least of all Hallmark greeting card sentiments is going to change a thing

Why bother...it's not about peace on earth anymore. Our greed had spun our country into a financial disaster, our need to force our flavor of pseudo democracy on others has killed millions, many of our own young men. While our country slides deeper into a "master and peasant" feudal system we bury our heads in the sand and make ourselves feel better by spending money on whatever new toy has been drilled into our heads by "corporate America" and the endless stream of advertising that appears in front of our faces everywhere we go, helping to deplete our savings and deepen the gash that separates the lower and upper classes.

This was, by far, the most un-Christmas-y "Holiday Season" ever. It might have just been me but to me, it sucked...it was almost sad. I guess if "seasonal" sales suck, no one is in the mood for Holiday cheer anymore.

If more remembered we are a REPUBLIC we would not be where we are now. The greed of the federal reserve banking system would not exist and their wars would not be funded. But both the dems and the reps want the fed, want the wars and want you and me to be debt slaves.

I thought you were going to say "merry christmas".

The only time I heard it was in parody on TV illustrating how ridiculously PC we've become that we're afraid to say it.

I also have the feeling that the most beautiful holiday of the year,the Christmas,lost most of it's beauty

People make me fucking sick.

People woke up from their fantasy is all.

The hype wore off.

People are losing their homes and didn't feel like putting up a christmas
tree in the parking lot they are living in.

Plus the hypocracy of people behaving like complete assholes 364 days and then they
