Since adult companies are private there are no reliable sources. Anyway, I just like to say there is no money in porn unless you came in before 2000.

Previous figured especially those that liked to compare it with professional sport earnings were also made up and highly inflated.

Truth is mainstream (non adult) makes a shitload more than adult does.

Adult has always been the driver of online innovation however as the above person mentioned...non adult projects have a much wider audience potential therefore a larger market share.

Delivery of adult video through a flash player (tubes) and although the concept obviously arrived from youtube, adult (Illegal) tubes has generated huge continued discussion and upset inside the Industry.

The Innovation (and massive downside in this case) has resulted in incredible surfer traffic on the 2 - 3 million adult tube sites that have apparently opened in the last couple of years.

Actually porn has invented anything....we just exploit the shit out of current technologies.
