I just called Kaiser Permanente to get health coverage. I currently have blue cross.
To make a long story short the woman on the phone was INSANELY rude and condescending. I explained I was not very knowledgeable about their health care plans and I needed help finding a good plan to fit my situation. She informed me maybe I should learn about the health care system before I call a company. I informed her that was HER job, and if she was not capable of helping I'd like to speak to a supervisor. She replied with "whatever" and I was escalated where I let the person know the previous rep was a buffoon. This is the short version.

People are idiots, rude, and overpaid in this country and I now understand why everything is melting.

That's not just in your country. This rude and clueless stuff is going on everywhere.
If I ask a normal simple question to any callcenter employee in Holland they have to switch me to the manager who is also clueless in most occasions.

From all the people I hired & fired throughout the years, just one stood out with something he said when I hired him.
He said he was proud to work again after being unemployed for 5 years and now he has the respect back from his family and friends and he will prove to me he's worht it.
I still employ this guy after 18 years....

In Italy that is considered being polite with a customer.

Had the girl in KFC tell us the ONLY way to get diet pepsi was to buy it in the can, and that we could not get all dark meat for the meal. So we got the regular box and went to sit down. Looked at the change and she had shorted us 50 pesos. about 5 dollars. The wife went to deal with it, and over heard a local order all dark meat, as well as diet pepsi and got what he wanted.


People just dont use their brains anymore.

They dont need to the TV tells them what to think what to do, and what to buy.

I am just shocked that people are like this. It's a simple question. What health care plan would be best for my family? Getting attitude about it makes no sense.

I can TELL she was sitting there picking her nails planning her weekend while talking to me as if I was mentally retarded and she was king of the world. I guess it just bothers me when people are INTENTIONALLY rude for absolutely no reason.

Anyway this may go on in larger quantities elsewhere but I guess what I am getting at is that sort of behavior will not help the world.

The average person is dumber than pond scum. People should be forced to IQ test and should be placed in jobs according to their IQ and problem solving skills. If you can't use deductive reasoning, don't be in a position where choices need to be made dynamically for example.

I just called the IRS, specifically the EIN application line, and asked three different reps a pretty basic question about requirements for an EIN... each one said they didn't know and their job was to just take the application and type it into the computer, and kept forwarding me to someone else until finally I got an east indian sounding guy who's answer was filled with a lot of "I think" and "probably" :helpme

As a parent, this becomes difficult. Imagine the surprise when an American girl of age 16, doesn't want to study for her drivers license, and rather than try - she just says oh well.
I couldn't wait to drive, it meant independence - it wasn't something i was prepared to fail at. Laziness and stupidity has gotten out of control.

In this one, i am at a loss for words.

I wonder if it would change things if everyone would record & post up bs like that on youtube, etc.
