Who Are CCBill's Closest Competitors?
Who Are CCBill's Closest Competitors? With CCBill stats being fucked up so often lately, I would think they'd post more here. Or maybe they do and I don't pay attention.
When I want to run stats I want to run stats. There aren't enough hours in the day for CCBill to be fucking up so I have to stop what I'm doing and come back to it later. Damn you CCBill Stats Reporting, Daaaaaaaaaaammmmm UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!! |
Epoch ?:thumbsup
|
uh epoch comes to mind
|
Did anyone say Epoch?
|
Epoch hands down.
|
I would probably recommend getting your own backend system and then use your processors primarily for processing and not all of the bells and whistles.

Hmmmm, so CCBill is the 1000 pound Gorilla and they're only competition is Epoch? Sounds like a business opportunity to me.
Actually, overall I really like CCBill but man, does it piss me off when they're stat reporting isn't working and I'm trying to bang out some work. |
I am constantly considering a switch to someone else, but they always drop little hints that their new system is in the works, or coming soon...so I hold off.
But fuck, they've been saying that for over 3 years now at least. |

Paying another $750 Visa fee would make me think twice
|
CCBill is completely state of the art compared to the competition. At least they have stats.
|
Hit me up when you can, no 750.00 and I can get you set up within 24 hours.
david at tritech dot org. Just mention GFY and I got you covered. |
I'd say iBill
|
Who's next to ccBill?!?
I'm going to guess buh-buh-bill and duh-duh-bill... :2 cents: BTW, I'm going to k-k-kill you, k-k-ken!!! http://img2.timeinc.net/ew/dynamic/i...8__wanda_l.jpg http://media-2.web.britannica.com/eb...4-2005141B.jpg ADG |

I still love you, I'm just not "in love" with you. :-) |
Thank your for the information

We set up Epoch as primary and then process CCBill as secondary in our cascade. I'm sure a lot of it comes down to personal taste in terms of stats, but I find the Epoch stats a bit better for my taste. If you have affiliates, Epoch will pay on both Epoch and CCBill joins and old CCBill affiliate links still work when you convert to Epoch, so affiliates don't have to change links and that is nice.
|
In terms of consistency, being able to reach a topnotch person truly 24/7, no-BS responses, and extraordinary customer service, there is simply no match for CCBill.
Yes, they have their occasional problems, as every company reliant on technology does... but I can tell you firsthand, having used several other billers... there's simply no comparison to the level of service, technical knowledge, and attention to detail. |
we need more ccbills :)
|
Verotel has been around for a long time too...

As an affiliate, I strongly prefer Epoch and CCBill programs. I promote exactly zero Verotel programs now, which is too bad because a number of fetish sites use them. |
We have used Verotel for years with thousands of affiliates....:winkwink:
|
I like Verotel. Never had one problem with them at all. Can't say the same for other companies.

We have just gone through the processes of selecting a payment processor.
We ended up with CCBill but after all the pain we are sorted now. Except now they have an error in the system that spits out bad affliate tracking codes. They are working on it they say. Others we talked to: Epoch - Sound program and easy to deal with Commercegate - Easy to deal with but doesn't have affiliate tracking tools Segpay - Easy to deal with but doesn't have affiliate tracking tools Voretel - Poked around didn't try it out Zombiao - Poked around didn't try it out In the end we stuck with CC Bill since its well known and has consumer confidence. I just hope they fix the issue soon! |

Segpay - In our first contact they said had a built in program. After much back and forth we discovered that we would need to get our own NATS and that they are plugged into it as all the processors are. Shame really cause it would make sense if they did. All processors should have a built in system. Atleast something basic.
|
Just my :2 cents:
If you are looking for a true merchant partner with over ten years in the adult sector, currently processing over $50 million per month in transactions without a hitch, providing very competitive processing costs, while increasing your credit card transactional volume and decreasing your charge-back exposure, please send your contact info to [email protected]. Their direct offshore banking relationship allows them to provide not only portability of your on-line client base (vs. profiling which is typical with some of the other cc processors mentioned in this thread), but also increase customer retention. PS Rumor has it that Epoch is in trouble with their Iceland banking relationship, and no need to highlight the deficiencies already identified surrounding CCBill's reporting, or lack thereof. |
