I don't generally reach out and find designers. I have my own employee that works in my office that does graphic design, and web design with CSS, as well as video editing, encoding and other things for me. I prefer having someone work on my projects in person, so I can make changes and tweaks easily since they can have access to all the photo, html, video and other assets on my networked drives for any project. That's why my sites always look so pretty. Just gotta get the Barefootsie knack down for maximizing traffic & revenue. :-)

I feel you bro. I wish I could find someone local myself. I've looked for years, and then never measure up for different reasons. Some it's skill set, but more often it's attitude and work ethic.
I have no tolerance for either.
I pay 100%. I expect 100%. Including making deadlines the coder gives me, and the work completion. I do not expect to get attitude when you blow your own deadlines, nor when you can't fill a skill set you told me you had before taking the contract.
As the saying goes... the coders, and designers with skill are typically booked months in advance.
