Thats all, google updated pr today and my traffic from high ranked keywords gets more everyday. So i say: Fuck PR, dont believe the hype! (Someone post that musicvideo already)

It took me 3 years in IM to get here, but I finally have reached the point where I could give a fuck less about PR rank. All I care anymore is if the project is making money or not.

lost PRs on most of my sites

I busted my ass to get a blog to PR5... Google turned it PR4 and then PR3... The blog still gets the same traffic and SERP's for the keywords... So I don't give a shit.

Same here... my SEPR is pretty much the same +/- 1 on most keywords.

Guess I need to update and get a few new backlinks rolling.

PR is very important for SE placement.

Same here.....That PR on the tool is such a mind fuck though.

One of my sites had PR 3 getting 2k SE traffic a day,
than it went to PR 4 and SE traffic dropped to 1k a day

so it's not really important...

and now my site got back to PR 3 so I hope traffic will go back to 2k a day again :)

Well it is enough to have pr3 to get good placement and thats not hard at all.

Like i already said in that other thread:

I have been experimenting with pr and serps and google traffic and hardlinks for a shitload of money the last 2 years.

When i had sites ranking pr4, they did ok.
When they got ranked from 4 to 3, they did even better.
Now i have one thats even ranked back to 2 and i get more and more se traffic every fucking day AND for pretty high ranked keywords.

Is pr important? Yeah well, if your trying to sell hardlinks to newbies it is and you will make some beermoney from it. If your in it for the long run my advise would be NOT to look at PR at all but: Get links on GOOD quality websites. Ones that have the same content as your site. Ones that arent swarmed with hard or back-links already.

PR is as alexa, nice to show your friends, but it wont get you any presents from the sponsors in 2009 either.

Fuck pr, its a hype only google should care about and to be honest, they dont give a fuck either. So why should we..

No change for me in PR .. and PR is important for ranking but not directly ...

Damn, no BS - i hit a PR4 in less than 1 month. I didnt even try. Does it matter, Did it help - no.

PR alone is not gonna make you or break u on a site.

Most all my sites are PR3-5 ... I've have PR6 (didnt stick forever) ... didnt really matter
