I so wish we had real German beer in America.
 

Just sipping on some beer and being honest with myself that the beer sucks.

And before someone says it; Heineken is not German it's Dutch.
It's also not pure Heineken, it's watered down for the US.

Becks is ok, but still not the real thing I think because I think it's illegal to
import full German beer. It at least seems illegal since I never see any real ones.

Lets put it this way : if you had called your friends and said you were bringing over some
german beer and showed up with guinness, none of your friends would be dissapointed!

There are rules about preservatives and such in Germany where they strictly monitor their beer, which leads to it being uber-delicious.

In order to ship beer long distances, preservatives and such are added.

At least, that was what everyone I knew believed when I lived in Germany. But we all drank a lot, so what did we know?
